The action within these towns is engaging and fast-paced, and the unique combination of cartoonish village architecture and realistic rendering of battle scenes create a world that feels real. These towns are beautifully drawn with superb 2D animation, and feature fully animated actors playing many different characters (such as Ronin himself). The developers have obviously put a lot of time and care into this title, because much of the player's interaction with the game takes place within the environment of the game's many beautifully rendered towns and villages. Ronin: The Last Samurai, much like the earlier Ronin games, sees you take on the roll of an iconic warrior as you take on the role of one of Japan's most iconic and powerful feudal warriors. Ronin's ability to battle against opponents using his magical abilities also sets him on his path to finding and destroying the enemies of his trusty master, and his journey towards this end also involves some heavy sword fighting! During his trek he meets a warrior called Ryuji, also a former warrior who has fallen out with the ways of the blade, and together they form a team to search for the Master of Flames, who resides within a powerful gem called the Dragon's Tail. Using these abilities, he embarks on an ancient quest to find the legendary 'Master of Flames'. Ronin: The Last Samurai, much like its predecessor, revolves around the story of a young man - now named Ronin after his untimely death - who stumbles into an ancient temple, and upon its discovery, learns that he possesses amazing magical powers. What you'll find inside is a game very much in line with its predecessor, Ronin: The Noble Collection, in terms of its emphasis on exploration and its use of multiple gameplay approaches (as well as its use of visual novel elements). From the first moment you boot up the application, you'll notice that it feels incomplete without the traditional open world design of RPGs (that's what we're referring to when we say that this one feels incomplete). Ronin: The Last Samurai, the latest in the Ronin series by Sean Gallagher, is an application that you shouldn't miss if you like samurai action games.
